What are the 2023 Nissan Altima Trim Levels
What are the 2023 Nissan Altima Trim Levels
The Altima is a four-door midsize sedan that has a handsome exterior design and an upscale and spacious interior. It also provides drivers with a number of exciting options, including a more powerful turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive. The 2023 Nissan Altima that is now available to purchase and lease at Ancira Nissan brings with it some notable updates as well. That includes a light exterior makeover that features a redesigned front fascia, restyled headlamps and the new Nissan logo. Nissan has also added new color options, tweaked the trim selection and expanded the standard equipment.
Nissan Altima S
Nissan has dropped the Platinum trim level for the 2023 Nissan Altima, but there are effectively still five options due to how it shuffled the trim lineup. The first of those trim levels is the Altima S. It has a continuously variable automatic transmission, and Nissan pairs that CVT with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. Front wheel is the standard drive layout and the only one available for the base model. Standard features include keyless entry, keyless ignition, remote ignition and 16-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers. The cabin features cloth seats, air conditioning, a power adjustable driver’s seat, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, a 7-inch touch screen, a USB port and a six-speaker audio system. The S also features Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes automatic headlamps and high beams, a rearview camera, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, driver attention monitoring and rear seat reminder.
Nissan Altima SV
The next of the 2023 Nissan Altima trim levels is the first to offer all-wheel drive as an option. Mechanical enhancements include Intelligent Ride Control, which improves ride comfort, and Intelligent Trace Control, which improves handling in curves. It also adds the Driver Assist package, which is optional with the base model. This package adds a more advanced power-adjustable seat for the driver, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors with rear automatic braking. The trim level also includes LED headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels, and it enhances the cabin with satellite radio, an 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an additional front USB-C port and two additional rear USB ports. You also have the option of a Premium package that adds heated front seats, driver lumbar support, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a power sunroof, heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, adaptive cruise control, a lane keeping system and ProPilot Assist, which allows for hands-free driving in certain scenarios.
Nissan Altima SR
The SR is the sportiest of the 2023 Nissan Altima trim levels, and is available in an SR 2.0 configuration, which we’ll cover as a separate trim level. This package adds 19-inch alloy wheels and exclusive exterior styling enhancements. It adds exclusive interior styling enhancements as well along with paddle shifters on the steering wheel and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Front-wheel-drive models also features a sports suspension that improves handling and ride comfort. This trim level also gives you the option of the Premium package discussed above although with some minor variations.
Nissan Altima SL
The SL is equipped like the SR but with the Premium package included. This trim level also upgrades your Altima in other ways. It enhances the exterior with fog lamps, and for the cabin, upgrades include genuine leather upholstery, a power-adjustable passenger seat, zoned automatic climate control with rear air vents, a heated steering wheel, integrated navigation and a nine-speaker Bose audio system. It also adds NissanConnect connected services and upgrades the adaptive cruise control system with Traffic sign recognition.
Nissan Altima SR 2.0
This is the biggest difference for the 2023 model. Nissan has dropped the Platinum from the available trim levels. The SR, which is the sportier Altima, has always been available with a more powerful engine as an option, but now it’s offered as the SR 2.0 instead. This new trim is based on the sportier SR but features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 236 hp and 267 lb.-ft. All-wheel drive is not available, so every SR 2.0 has the sport suspension. These models also have all of the additions listed for the SL trim level. Other additions include a memory system for the driver’ seat, a 360-degree camera system and an ambient interior lighting system.
